Solo – Age Group
The piano competition welcomes participants of all nationalities and accepts applications in the following age groups. For all categories with an age requirement, the age group will be determined based on the participant’s age as of 1 January 2025.
Participants are not required to perform the same piece offered in the Preliminary Round for the Finals. However, do take note that the same limit on performance duration applies.
Entry Fees 2024

Repertoire Selection Guideline:
The repertoire chosen must be a published work from the Baroque to 21st Century periods. Works of jazz, pop, rock are not permitted unless it is a repertoire included in the ABRSM or Trinity College London exam syllabuses.
Participants may submit up to two repertoires per entry, provided that the total duration does not exceed the specified time limit.
Video Submission Guideline – For Online Submission only
- For Age Group Category, you are allowed to submit up to 2 repertoires. However, if you are submitting 2 repertoires, please note that you are required to perform 2 repertoires in 1 take. The entire performance must be taken in 1 take, without any sound or video editing.
- Recordings must be in accordance with the repertoire guidelines.
- Performances are to be within the time limits to be considered as eligible for the competition.
- It is recommended that videos recording should be made in the highest quality possible.
- Please note that where repertoire choice or other submission requirements are not met, the candidate may be disqualified.
- Name your video in the format of : FULL NAME (CATEGORY & CLASS), Composer, Repertoire.
- The video must be in the form of a YouTube link and copy the shareable link and insert it into the registration form.
FINAL ROUND
All Gold prize recipients from the preliminary round is eligible to sign up for the final round. Participants can choose to participate live, in Hong Kong, or to send in a video submission.

Only up to 2 complete pieces are allowed for the live preliminary round.
Performances exceeding the stipulated time limit will be disqualified.
